Update : Tata Docomo launches diet SMS plan :
Tata Docomo launched a diet SMS tariff plan which cost one paisa per one character in SMS for upto a maximum of 15 characters . They won’t charge the spaces made between the characters . This innovative SMS plan is best and one of the first of its kind .
You can enable Tata Docomo Diet SMS plan using three options :
1. Download Diet SMS application from Tata Docomo :You to this URL from you Tata Docomo mobile and download the mobile application using WAP services .
2. Use your normal SMS application to send diet SMS : For this send the formatted text message to 52208 and in the text box type the target mobile number followed by a space and then your message .
3.Open Dive in menu on your mobile and find out the diet SMS option .
Note :This diet SMS plan is applicable to phones in Tata Docomo network .
Update :Tata Docomo launches unlimited GPRS plan :
Two prepaid unlimited GPRS tariff plans are now announced . Recharge 15 RS GPRS pack (valid for 3 days ) or 95 RS GPRS pack (valid for 30days) and send a message INTERNET to52270 . The GPRS charges in roaming for this plan will be 10 paisa for 10 KB .
Update : The latest unlimited GPRS plans are experiencing some difficulties and per Tata Docomo customer care in many areas . The plans are expected to be re-launched in one month . Till then you can use the normal GPRS tariff plan from Tata Docomo . That is, one paisa per one KB of data transferred . For this send a text message GPRS to 52270 ,and save the delivered settings on your phone .
Update :Tata Docomo announced redesigned prepaid GPRS tariff plans . The unlimited tag is now removed . RCV of 95 RS now provide 20MB data usage valid for 3 days . Another pack of 95 RS give 100MB data usage valid for 30 days . After recharging ,send an SMS INTERNET to 52270 and download the settings .

Tata Docomo announced new GPRS plans. Customers needs to send GPRS to 121 to activate the service. The normal charge of browsing is 50p/1MB, which can be extended using any of the plans shown below.

Tata Docomo today announced very attractive plan for friends in Tata Docomo network. Under this plan called BuddyNet, friends or other members can talk at 1/6sec for local and 1p/2sec for STD calls. BuddyNet members can exchange or gift their talk time to others in same network. Another feature of BuddyNet is free browsing social networking sites. BuddyNet members can use Twitter, LINKEDIN, Facebook, Orkut and chat on Nimbuzz mobile messenger for free.

@sujir Each Tata Docomo prepaid sim card will cost you 50 RS INR .For first time you need to make a recharge of 50 RS .So total 100 RS for getting connection .

Tata Docomo offers 30 RS SMS recharge that is suitable for sending 600 SMS valid for 30 days .
What Special about Tata Docomo prepaid is that the one second billing will be continued for life time .But there will be tariff changes as when required .Currently the STD is also 1 paisa / sec . But seems that it will be soon revised to 2 paisa /sec . But in local ,as we don't need any addon packs , Tata Docomo will continue to rock .
Buttt.one problem……..the sms offer is for limited period itsss very bad…..and after limited period std rates will also rise…dis is not good ……

We have finally launched our unlimited GPRS plan and we will be introducing it in 2 packages. The first package will be the ‘Rs. 15 GPRS Pack’. This is a pre paid pack wherein a customer can recharge with Rs.15, and thereafter the customer will be allowed to access unlimited data for next 3 days by selecting Docomo internet APN on their handsets. The second package will be the ‘Rs. 95 GPRS Pack’. In this pack, the customer can recharge with Rs. 95, and thereafter the customer will be allowed to access unlimited data for the next 30 days. These packages will be applicable to TATADOCOMO home and roaming network only.
