Sony Announced brand new Walkman music and video players on S Series and E series range .Walkman series is Sony’s answer to Microsoft Zune , Apple iPod touch Philips Go gear and Sandisk Sansa portable music and video players . The same Sony technology that delivers awesome sound quality in Sony Ericsson Walkman phone is used in E Series and S Series Walkman players .Both these players are available on variety of new colors ,and on 8GB and 16GB storage sizes. They have QVGA LCD screen with 2.4 inch ( S series) and 2 inch (E series ) capable of playing videos upto a maximum of 30 fps . S series Walkman player is little bit more advanced with more screen size ,video formats and music playback time . The E Series on the other side will be an entry entry Walkman player with lower price .

Sony S Series Walkman specifications:

Sony S Series Walkman includes a 2.4 inch  fast responsive QVGA LCD screen display with 30 fps video playback . There is an FM tuner and recorder . S Series offer 42 hours of music playback through headphones and 17 hours through external speakers . The video playback time is 6.5 hrs and 5 hrs respectively as in each case above. This model ranges only less than a half inch in thickness , and is extremely lightweight  . There is iTunes support to sync with Windows or Mac OS and transfer music and video file easily . The new S Series Walkman also opens JPEG images along with common audio and formats like MP3, WMA(DRM), AAC ,AVC (H.264/AVC) , MPEG-4 and WMV(DRM).

Sony Series and Eseries Walkman music  players will be available from next month onwards ,in 8GB and 16 GB models with color options lack, red, violet or pink . S series Walkman will cost $110 and $130 respectively for 8GB and 16GB models (5300-6300 India price). E Series Walkman having a cut in specs cost only $80 (3800 INR) and $100 (4600 INR) in each case .

Nokia Today announced Nokia N900 internet tablet based on Maemo 5 Linux platform .Maemo 5 Linux is new generation mobile touch platform with speed and facilities which for the first time going to get introduced in Nokia N900 . We earlier covered the expected specifications and price of the New Nokia N900 internet tablet . But the code name Rover disappeared on official Nokia press release . It will have a massive 3.5 touch screen ,32GB inbuilt memory ,GPS,WLAN and powerful 5 mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics Tessar lens and slide out QWERTY keyboard . Microsoft OneApp for mobile Microsoft announced the development of an all in one mobile application ,OneApp for accessing its services like Bing ,Windows Live messenger as well social websites like Twitter , Facebook from GPRS and 3G powered mobile handsets . Apart from this ,OneApp also includes games ,web applications and custom user built mobile application using OneApp software developer kit that is expected to be available in coming months . .Microsoft OneApp is designed to work will medium low end mobile phones to high end phones .The size of the applications is only 115KB, and will consume only very little memory . Nokia 5230 is powered by the latest Symbian S60 V5 OS that is used in flagship models like 5800 Xpress music, N97 and N97 Mini. Though the music tag is not there, Nokia 5230 appears to be a good music phone. It includes quick music playback keys, supports storage of 16 GB and provides 33 hours of extensive music playback. Like ICICI imobile ,HDFC customers should first apply for internet banking and InstaQuery from their Local HDFC branches . After activation they can download the mobile application and access all HDFC bank services from mobile . They can pay mobile bills, book railway tickets ,plan travel through Makemytrip ,Yatra ,Deccan and other partners ,check bank balance , transfer funds to another account or debit cards,pay credit cards and insurance premiums ,shop for products and pay online.

Citi bank mobile application :

Citi bank is not much popular bank (in India) like ICICI and HDFC .Customers who opt for mobile banking should first register for internet banking and provide their mobile number . After activation they can download Citi mobile application by  sending an SMS MBANK followed by last 4 digits of their Citi Bank Debit/Credit card number to 52484. The download URL will be then despatched  via another SMS . Citibank mobile is currently available for Citi branch banking ,Suvidha and Credit Card Customers . They also provides mobile banking facilities discussed above .

These mobile banking softwares are officially provided by ICICI , Citi and HDFC banks . But customers should contact the respective branches before providing their account information to these applications .
