HTC prefaced their new Android Smartphone HTC Sensation in India, a week after the launch of Samsung Galaxy S2. Now the question is-which one you like better. At a glance, both look the same; “1.2GHZ dual core processor, 4.3 inch screen, Android 2.3 and a price around 29. 5K INR ($660)”. But in our side-by-side comparison the Galaxy S2 outstripped the Sensation, although the later comes with an improved Sense user interface.

HTC today displayed a new web tablet HTC Flyer at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Flyer is the first and long awaited tablet device from HTC, and it has been announced that it will be launched with an upcoming Android version 2.4. HTC Flyer is much powerful when you list the hardware specifications. It doesn’t have a dual core CPU but the inbuilt 1.5Ghz processor is pretty faster and new to the mobile world. Flyer has an alluring aluminum Unibody enclosure, and around 1GB RAM and 32GB on-board flash storage.

HTC today announced the upcoming availability of HTC 7 Mozart, along with HTC HD7, HTC Surround and HTC Trophy, at a special Windows phone 7 event in USA. When compared with the other HTC Windows phone 7 models, HTC 7 Mozart gives more importance to the imaging side and the external design. HTC 7 Mozart is the only 8MP camera phone in the new Windows phone lineup. Moreover, the Mozart has a Xenon flash for taking better images at low light conditions. HTC 7 Mozart has design elements from the HTC Nexus One, HTC Desire and a uni-body aluminum construction as we have seen in HTC Legend. The device comes with a 3.7 inch, VGA capacitive touch screen, which supports multi-touch in browser, gallery and other applications.

The Z like keypad hinge in HTC Desire Z is the reason behind its name. The HTC Desire Z is the first HTC Android phone * with the QWERTY keypad (outside US). Desire Z will be shipped with Android OS 2.2 Froyo and a custom HTC Sense UI over it. HTC Today announced a new smartphone HTC Desire HD -at a special press event held in London. The HTC Desire HD, as the name indicates is an upgraded version of the HTC Desire, and is a mobile device based on Android OS. Many people were waiting for an Asian-European version of the HTC EVO 4G handset currently available with the Verizon network in USA. HTC today uncovered world’s first 4G Android phone, HTC EVO at Las Vegas. HTC plans to launch this phone in US on exclusive partnership with 4G enabled Sprint network. Evo users with Sprint connection can enjoy the fastest mobile entertainment on their mobile phone from this summer. HTC Evo was earlier known as HTC Supersonic. The device is the new flagship product of HTC after the mighty HD2. Equipped with Android 2.1 OS, the HTC EVO 4G is a perfect combination of both hardware and software. Many users were expecting an Android version of HTC HD2. The new device is far better than HD2 in several aspects. While maintaining its large 4.3 capacitive touch screen with Sense, HTC Evo adds 8 MP camera with HD video recording and HDMI output. Evo also includes a 1.3 MP video camera for video calls. So apart from viewing HD video in Evo’s large touch screen, users can connect it their external HDTV for better experience. Sprint and HTC haven’t announced the price plans of HTC Evo. However, it would be competitive considering the upcoming launch of iPhone 4G.
