Motorola today announced a new tablet device named as Xoom. Last year we have a seen a boom of tablets; Apple iPad, Blackberry PlayBook and Samsung Galaxy tablet were the notable entrants in the market. Motorola Xoom is a tablet designed to work with Google’s Android OS. Many mobile phone manufacturers already have Android tablets, but most of them are based on Android OS 2.2 and 2.3 that are not tablet friendly. The Motorola Xoom will be shipped with Android OS 3.0 HoneyComb, which is exclusively designed to work with tablet devices. Motorola Xoom has a dual core processor and 10.2 inch capacitive touch screen that supports 1080p HD videos.

Powered by the latest Android 2.2 Froyo, the Motorola DROID 2 includes customized MotoBlur user interface. Motorola Droid 2 A9552 is far powerful than the original Droid and has an improved QWERTY keypad. However, the device specification shows that its inferior to the recently released Droid X. Motorola MILESTONE XT720 is now available in India

The Motorola Milestone XT720 is an Android 2.1 smartphone that includes an 8MP digital camera. It is also the first Android that comes with a Xenon Flash for the camera. Unlike other Motorola Android phones, Motorola Milestone XT720 doesn’t include the MotoBlur user interface. The device is somewhat similar to the original Motorola Milestone (Also Droid in US), but its doesn’t have the QWERTY keypad. The price range of the MILESTONE XT720 falls in the category of Nexus one, Samsung Galaxy S, HTC Desire, and the original Milestone.
Verizon Motorola Droid X price plans and specifications revealed

The new Droid X be the successor of Motorola Droid (Also Milestone outside US) which is currently one of the most popular handsets of Verizon. Based on Android OS 2.1, the Droid X joins the league of HTC HD2 and HTC EVO 4G in terms of its screen size. The 4.3 inch capacitive touch screen of Droid X has 854 x 480 resolution and a new improved version of MotoBlur UI. Equipped with a 8 MP snapper, the Droid X records HD videos at 720p and has an HDMI output. Motorola Milestone Android phone announced in India

We earlier predicted that there would be a GSM variant of Motorola Droid phone that is made specially for Verizon customers in US. GSM variant of Motorola Droid will be called Motorola Milestone. The specifications and price of Motorola Milestone will be almost similar to the US version, but free Google navigation and some other services will not be available. Motorola Milestone is now available for pre-booking in Vodafone and O2 online stores in UK and Germany. They also leaked the price of Motorola Milestone in Germany in Euros . So when converting, the price of Motorola Milestone in India would be ~34000 INR.
