So far, in this year we have seen Android tablets from Dell, ViewSonic, Archos, Toshiba and a few other companies. Samsung today joined the party by announcing the new portable web tablet called the Samsung P1000 Galaxy Tab. The Samsung Galaxy tab is a seven inch wide Android 2.2 Froyo based internet device, which is also a phone. As you might have heard, various models of Samsung Galaxy S smartphone have already sold more than one million units in US itself. Samsung except that they will sell around 10 million units of the Samsung Galaxy tab by next year. The Galaxy tab would be launched at a cheap price point to attract the mass market segment.

Samsung Behold 2 price on T-Mobile and plansSamsung and T-mobile are expected announce the availability of Samsung Behold 2 smartphone for its customers in USA. The specialty of Behold 2 is its completely redesign and shift in software platform to Google Android. Samsung Behold 2 will include Android OS 1.5 with Samsung TouchWiz UI over it . Samsung Behold will be the fourth Android phone from T-mobile after G1, MyTouch 3G and Motorola Cliq . Specifications of Behold II  includes 3.2 inch AMOLED touch screen 5 mega pixel autofocus camera, GPS, upto 16GB expandable memory, WiFi etc. The exact details, retail price and plans of  Behold II will be announced by Samsung and T-mobile at the scheduled press conference on November 12.

The first  Behold from T-mobile had already created good impressions on public. That device was totally different in looks as we said earlier. On a close look at the specifications and design revels that new Samsung Behold somewhat similar to Samsung Galaxy .

Preliminary specifications of Samsung Behold 2 :

3.2 inch AMOLED capacitive  touch screen , 5 mega pixel autofocus camera , WiFi ,Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP , GPS, accelerometer sensor ,inbuilt Google applications for Talk ,Gmail, Youtube and navigation .

Samsung Behold 2 price :

T-mobile and Samsung will launch Behold II for its US customers on November 18 for a price tag of $250 with 2 year contract . Currently in India we have Samsung Galaxy Android phone available trough Tata Docomo . So we don’t expect any possibility to introduce a similar phone in a different name :) .
