People usually protect external storage card in mobile devices with password. But its not possible to access the data inside the card if password is lost. Recently I wrote an article, the method in which can be used to recover deleted SMS from mobile phones. Here is another related one, which deals with memory card password. We can use the same software that we used in the above case to recover memory card password from mobile phones. This method may not work with new and Advanced mobile phones. Anyways give it a try.

In some cases we will need to to recover accidentally deleted SMS messages and contact numbers. However it is not very easy to recover deleted SMS and other data from phone SIM card. Here we will need data recovery software that can scan specific portion of SIM card to recover messages. The theory is that if we have enough space to store new SMS messages, the old deleted ones remain inside SIM card. So you may not be able to see those messages in mobile. But you can recover that from SIM directory using some software. Here we have two methods Recover deleted SMS from mobile SIM cards.

Install run N-Gage games in N73 , N93 and unsupported mobile phones

N-Gage games are currently not available for Nokia N73 , N93 ,N75 ,N93i and other similar unsupported mobile phones . But in N-Gage’s website , they says that its soon available for these devices .I hope that N-gage would be added with the next firmware upgrade for N73 ,N93 and N75 .But for now ,you can use this method to install and run N-Gage games in unsupported devices .

N-Gage games needs a 270 degree rotation and extreme graphics capabilities .These features are currently not available on N73 and 93 . But two files included in this download would help you to run N-gage games in unsupported mobile phones .

I personally tested Asphalt game on my Nokia N73 and its almost working perfectly .And make sure that you have updated your Nokia N73 and N93 to the latest firmware available.

Download Rotate Me 2

Rotate Me 2 is a free mobile software which can be used to rotate a mobile phone display from portrait to landscape and vis-versa . Rotate Me 2 works automatically in phones with accelerometer support . That is , the phone screen automatically turns , when it is rotated , just like in Apple iPhone .


New version of Rotate Me supports 180 degree rotation in phones like N95 , N96,N95 8GB with latest firmware updates installed .

You have keep the application opened to make the rotation active . This can be done manually or by a hot key . Rotation can be stopped by pressing camera and pen key simultaneously .

Rotate me 2 has many manual settings .

* Sensitivity: More sensitivity is set to a high value, more the display will rotate with a minor needing of rotation of the phone.
* Reactivity: The lower this setting is, the longer you have to keep your phone in landscape/portrait position to rotate the screen.
* Auto Start: Enable this setting to launch rotateMe automatically at the phone boot.
* Autorotation switch type:
- Hotkey: Disable auto rotation by pressing simultaneously ‘Pen’ and ‘Camera’ keys.
- By launching: Disable auto rotation by launching rotateMe. To launch the app, launch it from menu.
* Inactivity Delay: After this delay of inactivity, auto-rotation will be stopped. Press a key, or unlock the keypad, to reactivate auto-rotation.
* Priority: High priority allows a better reactivity when big apps are launched.
* System App.: When activated, this setting prevents rotateMe to be closed by the OS in low RAM conditions.
* Hidden App.: Enable this setting to hide rotateMe from the tasks list.

Receive Twitter updates by SMS free

Twitter is a free utility that connects its users through very small instant status messages . Other members can view these status messages on Twitter website , Instant messengers ,Desktop ,Internet applications and SMS. Out of these ,Official SMS and IM status updates services of Twitter are not available now . But now you can receive Twitter updates by SMS and that is free .Unfortunately Twitter free SMS status updates are only available to people from India .

Just name your SMS channel and give a description . In the next step , add your twitter feed in the feed section . Twitter SMS tweets and updates may delay and it depends on the traffic load on Google servers . And you may receive maximum of 50 updates/tweets per day .

Sign Install unsigned Symbian mobile softwares with certificate error

Few months back , I wrote post on how to sign and install unsigned Symbian applications . Due to two three months of inactivity and increased requests from my friends here , now I am again dealing with this topic . Like any Windows software, as security measure , the mobile softwares should also be digitally signed to ensure that its safe to install on the target device . Digital signing should be done by software authors or by the users. And in most cases , a certificate is associated with genuine mobile softwares. Here we have few tips to sign unsigned mobile applications.

There are 3 different methods to sign and install unsigned Symbian softwares .

1. Turn of the certificate checking feature in your mobile phone .

Go to your mobile phones‘ applications app manager and open settings . From the settings tab , select to install all applications ,instead of signed applications . ( Valid only for Symbian and Nokia phones)

2. Install unsigned Symbian softwares using developer certificates from Symbian.com website .

Symbian.com is place for mobile software developers where they get their applications digitally signed . Here you can upload your applications and download the signed versions that can be directly installed . But for registering at Symbian.com website , users needs their own own email address , that is something like username@userdomain.com . They won’t accept Gmail , Yahoo and other normal email addresses .

3 .Sign and install mobile softwares using existing certificate and key file : The third method is uses a pre-created certificate and key file for local signing of unsigned Symbian mobile softwares . This method needs three things . A certificate file , key file and signing software(Signsis.exe) .

( SignSIS needs Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 that is to be downloaded separately )

If have a certificate and key file , as shown above, you can sign any Symbian mobile software using SignSIS . Use Password for key file as 00000 .
