The external design of the new LG Cookie PEP is very impressive. It comes stylish silver and back color outfits and sleek finish. LG Cookie PEP doesn’t have physical keypad. So most part of the front side of the phone includes its 3 inch, 256K resistive touch screen. There is a button below the screen that give quick access to home screen, or to make or cut phone calls. Home screen of new LG Cookie PEP is customizable as the original one. Users can set different panels and customize them with widgets. The panels in LG Cookie PEP can be changed by sliding on the home screen. There is an application called Live Square that can be used to add favorite contact to phone screen with cool avatars. LG cookie PEP has 3 dedicated applications for accessing social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace. As an India specific model , PEP also includes applications like NewsHunt, NDTC active, Just cricket etc.

LG Cookies PEP comes with a stranded 3 MP camera with fixed focus and no flash. The video and photo quality is just average. LG PEP has standard LG music player. The sound quality is good. However the sound is little bit sharp at higher levels. LG Cookie doesn’t have 3G and WLAN. So the browsing is not much faster on complex pages. Using Opera mini would be better choice if you need to load page little bit faster.

recently i bought lg cookie pep(GD 510 (black))…every thing is fine but…one disadvantage is phone is releasing some heat and why i dnt knw it is becoming a little bit warm when i play 3 r 4 songs continuosly.. & even if i keep the phone for charging…i need to knw abt it…

Got this phone last week. And to be honest I am completely surprised by LG this time. I never liked their products before as thery were not user-friendly but this little phone is a exception,thankfully.Looks uber cool with the aluminium finish and the the single button on the phone.
Camera is okay but is good when pics are transferred to PC. Sound is good but not better than the Corby.Tons of cool features and good battery life considering its a touch screen.

It is a big failure. LG can never replace the old tested/validate phone companies (samsung or nokia). This handset has audibility problems. Guys dont go for it. It is a just slim piece with attractive features and cool price….but so what basic functionality of this phone is BAD. If you are a person who speaks softly or at lower tone you will have hard time….So guys my comment is this phone is a big failure……buy anything else but dont trust this LG. Their representatives are also are bullshit…once they sell…..they dont care about the problems u face with phone…..

Camera clarity is not at all good, not even 1MP calarity it gets, Touchscreen is also not ok for me i found 4 months old nokias touch screen is far better than new LGs. it does not support youtube streaming which a disadvantage, Battery backup also not that good. Decide yourself whether to buy or not..

I am using LG cooke 500 from 5 - 6 months onwards, the problem is it will go on hanging evertime if we use more calls also to restart again i have to release the battery directly and now phone charger socket is in trouble no charging, so i tried in 3-4 lg service venter but the spare is not avialable, i tried in kochin, thiruvalla, kottauyam and trivandrum, actually everytime i am in travelling is the lg mbl is not working so I decide to file a case in consumer court because i met lot of loss due to this cooke phone with service it is better to replace this phone
i expect a good action from you which is safe for both of us otherwise i will publish this problem with chanel friends and newspaper friends
