Apple today announced the upcoming availability of their web tablet called the iPad. Apple iPad is one of the most anticipated announcement of this year. Like any other web tablet, the Apple iPad more focus on internet and multimedia. We can call iPad as a bigger version of Apple iPhone and iPod. The device includes an enhanced version of Apple iPhone OS. That is you can run almost all iPhone applications in iPad with minor upgrades. Apple also announced that they will be releasing a software development kit for developing applications for iPad. An emulator for running iPad applications will be available at Apple.com form today. Apple iPad is pretty large device with capacitive multi-touch screen of 24.6cm measured diagonally . The device specification includes a 1GHZ processor with graphics processor. It is available in 16-32-64 GB storage based on price and configuration.

Apple announced new iMac and Mac Mini with better processors and lower price

Apple today announced the updated version of iMac desktop systems with of 21.5 inch and 27 inch LED-backlit displays redesigned with aluminum enclosure.The new iMac lineup will have most powerful Intel processors and extreme graphic processing capabilities with ATI Radeon HD and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M dedicated chips . Another feature of the new iMac is the magic mouse, which the first such device in the world with multi-touch technology .They also announced updated versions for Mac mini, the smallest and energy efficient desktop computer series from Apple. New Mac mini desktops will have Intel Core 2 Duo processors, increased memory and storage space with almost the same price of the old model .There is also a new Mac mini server configuration with with extra storage space. Both iMac 21.5 -27 inch and Mac mini models will be equipped with the latest Snow Leopard OS from Apple for free.

The major attraction in new iMac series is the 21.5 inch and 27 inch LED-backlit displays with 16:9 aspect rations and upto a maximum of 60 percent more pixels than old models .These HD ready iMac’s with 21.5 and 27 inch sizes will have 1920*1080 and 2560 *1440 pixels of resolutions. IPS technology used in the iMac could reproduce the exact color on the screen, viewable from wide angular range.

New iMac series is the first Apple product to include next generation Intel i7and i5 quad- core processors .These processors are currently the best available processing chips on earth on multitasking and energy efficiency . 4GB of DDR3 RAM is default in all iMac models, and its expandable upto 16GB through four SO-DIMM slots . The standard features found in old iMac’s are also available in new models . There will integrated camera , WiFi ,Bluetooth ,SD card slot , 1 Firewire port , 4 USB ports , mic and stereo speakers .

Apple magic mouse uses the same patented technology that used in Apple iPhone and Apple iPod . New mouse will enable the user to control mouse actions with figure gestures . All iMac models includes magic mouse for free . It will cost 3000 INR (69 $) in India if purchased separately .

Mac Mini 2.56GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 320GB drive price in India = 37000 INR ( 7999 $)

Server configuration of iMac with 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 500 GB hard disk, 4GB RAM and Mac OS X Server Snow Leopard edition will cost 46000 INR (999 $) in India . This version will not have a optical drive .

Apple Today announced an update to OS 3.0 for iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS , The new iPhone OS 3.1.2 includes patches and fixes for bugs likes indefinite sleep , crashes during video steaming ,network disruption and others . Apple announced iPhone OS 3.0 on July of 2009 ,and OS 3.1 exactly one month before this update .The new iPhone OS 3.1.2 can be updated via latest iTunes 9 on PC or Mac OS .

iPhone 3GS 8GB Nokia N97 Mini 5800i Xpress music rumors

We earlier reported the availability of iPhone 3G S ,N97 , and Nokia Xpress music phones .Now there are rumors that Apple and Nokia are about to begin production of stripped down versions of iPhone 3G S and N97 as iPhone 3G S 8GB and Nokia N97 Mini .Both these devices will have almost same features as that of original ones , but there will be changes in over all size and memory capacity . Meanwhile there is another speculation over the successor of Nokia 5800 Xpress music as Nokia 5800i Xpress music .This phone would be an enhanced version of original Xpress music ,on camera quality .There’s no official confirmations regarding the background production of iPhone 3G S 8GB ,N97 Mini and Nokia 5800i Xpress music . But it seems that everything is true from the following screen shots .

iPhone 3G S 8GB .

Mobile tech blog BGR came with screenshots suggesting the possible back production of iPhone 3G S 8GB to replace existing iPhone 3G models .iPhone 3GS is yet to be launched in India. So if there is 8GB model ,the price would fall a little bit .

Nokia N97 Mini :

Nokia N97 is currently the flagship product of the company .But its sales is not impressive as Nokia 5800 Xpress music using the same Symbain S60 V5 . The price factor is the main concern here . As per the above photo ,the new N97 mini version is about 20-25 % smaller than the original model . We expect that this to reflect in the price of the phone to make a drop of 75-90 $ .N97 Mini would be the main attraction at Nokia World on September 2009 .

Nokia 5800i Xpress music :

Another speculated phone is the successor of Nokia 5800 Xpress music as 5800i Xpress music . The new version of the phone hit FCC in USA for approval and verification . The major difference is 5800i Xpress music is the improved focal length of the 3.15 mega pixel camera lens .So this would bring an improvement in picture quality .Another notable change is the WiFi antenna that is missing . We doubt his could be a special edition of 5800 Xpress music for China where WiFi is not allowed in mobile phones . In India WiFi is not always used by mobile customers .So with a reduction in price ,5800i Xpress music would do more business .

So till then here is a Windows based software Purplera1n that reportedly help to Jailbreak with iPhone 3GS iPhone OS 3.0 .Purplera1n was initially released with support for Windows XP and Windows Vista . Recently released Purplera1n RC2 made it available in Windows 7 after fixing bugs and errors in first release . iPhone Dev team had renamed yellowsn0w which was earlier used to unlock iPhone 3G with old firmware models . Yellowsn0w is now known as Ultrasn0w for all iPhone 3G and iPhone 2G models with iPhone OS 3.0 . Before unlocking iPhone OS 3.0 with Ultrasn0w 0.6 ,we need to jailbreak the phone with PwnageTool or Redsn0w . Redsn0w 0.7.2 can be used in Windows and PwnageTool 3.0 can be used in Mac to jailbreak iPhone OS 3G with OS 3.0 . After jailbreak we can Unlock iPhone 3G with OS 3.0 using Ultrasn0w .

Jailbreak iPhone 3G with OS 3.0 using Redsn0w 0.7.2 :



Redsn0w 0.7.2 is a multi-platform tool for jailbraking iPhone and iPod with OS 3.0 and to add Cydia installer to work on non app store supported applications . Redsn0w 0.7.2 has a very easy to understand UI than earlier versions .

Download Redsn0w 0.7.2(Windows) .
Download Redsn0w 0.7.2 (Mac)

Download OS 3.0 for iPhone 3G and iPod and copy it to the unzipped Redsn0w 0.7.2 folder .
Connect iPhone 3G ,iPhone 2G ,iPod 1G or iPod 2G to iTunes 8.2 .

Now restore the corresponding ipsw by selecting the folder location . Here on restore operation ,hold shift if you are using Windows or in Mac use option .

Now run Redsn0w 0.7.2 >select the ipsw file from copied folder and click next . Opt to install Cydia and continue .Operation will continue in a flow and click on next at suitable events . After finish restart your iPhone 3G or iPod touch with OS 3.0 .



Unlock iPhone 3G with OS 3.0 using Ultrasn0w .

After jailbreaking OS 3,0 with ,Redsn0w 0.7.2 we can unlock iPhone 3G and iPhone 2G with Ultrasn0w .

Make sure to jailbreak iPhone OS 3.0 with Redsn0w 0.7.2 . Select Cydia installer if you have already jailbreaked your iPhone . First select packages from two options in Cydia , select to edit and enter repo666.ultrasn0w.com as source URL and download Ultrasn0w .

Now return to Cydia sources and select to install Ultrasn0w from the list. Follow Cydia instructions carefully and continue to unlock iPhone with OS 3.0 .

After installation , press home button and tun off iPhone 3G .
Now insert your alternate carrier SIM card and restart phone .
