LG and AT&T today announced GW820 Expo, a Windows mobile 6.5 powered slider Smartphone for their customers in United States. LG Expo includes the latest Windows mobile 6.5 professional mobile operating system that was released few days back. Expo is a multimedia powerhouse with great multitasking capabilities. Thanks to its 1GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, that makes it into the class of top preforming Smartphone of recent times. There is an optional projector available separately at a price of $179.99. Another specialty of LG GW820 Expo is the inbuilt finger print sensor that adds to the security of the phone. LG Expo is the first phone to get such finger print smart recognition system. Other specifications include a 5 mega pixel auto focus camera, 512 MB ROM & 256 MB RAM expandable up to 16 GB, Wi-Fi, GPS etc.

The design of LG Expo is quite impressive with slider and full QWERTY keypad. Expo has a 3.2 large touch enabled screen with support for up to 16 million colors. There’s a Turbo scroll feature to read lengthy emails, view large web pages easily using fingers. HSPA supported LG Expo is compatible AT&T’s fast 3G network to deliver fast internet experience. Optional projector can be used to project anything on phone screen to a surface of maximum 40 inch size.

Last month we informed you about LG GW620, the first Android smartphone from Korean electronics giant. LG unveiled GW620 through a press conference where they also announced notable features of the phone. Finally for the first time its available for Rogers customers in Canada as LG Eve. Eve would be the name for the Canadian or US version of GW620. There are rumors stating that for other places it would be called as LG Etna. Specification of LG GW620 Eve includes 3 inch touch screen with slidout QWERTY keypad, 5 mega pixel auto focus camera , accelerometer sensor,WiFi, 2GB card with support upto 16GB and GPS.

LG today officially unveiled the new Chocolate BL20 mobile phone . We have earlier covered LG BL40 Chocolate with huge 4.0 inch display , exciting looks and features . LG BL20 Chocolate come with slightly similar styling , but smaller screen size and inferior features . Chocolate styling is preserved in this model with elegant black -cherry red color combination and keypad orientation . Though there’s no touch UI , LG BL20 Chocolate uses touch sensitive navigation keys and slide out keypad .Specifications of new LG BL20 Chocolate includes 2.4 TFT display , upto 16Gb expandable memory slot ,3G , 5 mega pixel auto focus camera and FM radio .

The notable features in new LG BL20 Chocolate phone are its design and 5 mega pixel camera . Unfortunately it doesn’t have GPS ,WLAN and reasonable internal memory .

LG GW620 Android phone announced

Google owned Android based handsets are gaining much popularity these days . HTC , Samsung and many other manufactures already reveled Android powered mobile devices . LG in this sense is little late to announce their first Android based handset LG GW620 . LG GW620 was earlier rumored as LG Etna . The recent press release confirmed their plans to enter Android smartphone market . As per press release ,LG GW620 will include a 3.0 inch touch screen and full qwerty keypad .Other specifications and price of the phone were not reveled on this update . LG GW620 is expected to be available by the fourth quarter of 2009 in selected European markets .
