SBI Life policy status and fund value on mobile

SBI Life operates different ULIP and other investment based insurance plans in India. SBI Life customers can register on the online SBI portal to get policy status, renewal dates, fund value at other details. Recently, SBI Life introduced SMS based mobile update service for all ULIP and non ULIP customers. Now all customers can check the growth of their investments, after completing one time registration from their mobile phone.

We earlier shared an SBI mobile application that can be used to check SBI savings bank balance and other details. The SBI application is based on SMS, and it takes RS 3 for each balance query made to their server. SBI Life Insurance mobile service also takes the 3 RS for registration and any further SMS requests. Just follow the steps given below to register SBI Life mobile updates.

Register for SBI Life mobile policy status update:

Send REGNEW space ( Policy Number) space (Date of Birth in DDMMYYYY format) to 56161.

After registration you can use the following commands to other policy details.

Get the current fund value of the investment:

FV space (Policy Number) to 56161

SBI Life policy renewal details:

Send RENDET space (Policy Number) to 56161

To know policy status, send: POLSTATUS space (Policy Number) to 56161

Date of last fund switch, send: SWTR space policy number to 56161

To get SBI Life Policy dispatch details, send: NEWPOL space (policy number) to 56161.
