Recently, SBI Life introduced SMS based mobile update service for all ULIP and non ULIP customers. Now all customers can check the growth of their investments, after completing one time registration from their mobile phone.

Free SMS lock

Few days back we reviewed Advanced Device Locks that can be used to lock SMS and other applications in a Symbian mobile phone . But ADL was a shareware mobile software and you need to pay after few days of use .Here is another application called Active SMS Lock that can lock SMS messages in Nokia and other Symbian devices . India SMS uses two type of input methods to format SMS in Indian languages . One based on typed English language and other is a virtual language keypad . When we type SMS in English , it is automatically converted to the selected Indian languages .

Select the required SMS language on load of IndiSMS . After that you can read an incoming SMS or create a new message . All incoming messages from IndiSMS can be accessed and read from IndiSMS Inbox .

Twitter is a free utility that connects its users through very small instant status messages . Other members can view these status messages on Twitter website , Instant messengers ,Desktop ,Internet applications and SMS. Out of these ,Official SMS and IM status updates services of Twitter are not available now . But now you can receive Twitter updates by SMS and that is free .Unfortunately Twitter free SMS status updates are only available to people from India .

Just name your SMS channel and give a description . In the next step , add your twitter feed in the feed section . Twitter SMS tweets and updates may delay and it depends on the traffic load on Google servers . And you may receive maximum of 50 updates/tweets per day .

Send Unlimited free SMS from Airtel mobile

Recently I wrote about a method for sending unlimited free SMS from BSNL mobile phones . Now we have here a message center number for Airtel that could be used to send unlimited free SMS from your Airtel mobile number .


For this , you have to create a new message center from your phone’s messaging options . Use this number +919810051905 as the message center number . Now I assume that you are on a Nokia mobile phone . Browse through your phone settings and find out packet data from connections . Now change the option for Packet data connection from when needed to when available and access point as Airtel live .Save the settings .

Now you can send unlimited free SMS from your Airtel mobile phone . And when each time you send an SMS , remember to add a zero at the beginning of destination number .

I hope you already know the tricks to send unlimited SMS from Airtel , Reliance , Vodafone and Tata Indicom mobile connections.Now here is a 100% working method to send unlimited SMS from BSNL SIM card. If you have message center number for unlimited SMS , you can revert the default message center number set by BSNL in your mobile phone and send unlimited free SMS.


So here we have 5 message center numbers of BSNL that is used to send SMS on unlimited plans .
