BSNL started 3G services in many states of the country. But rest of India relies on GPRS service for accessing mobile internet. The speed of mobile GPRS varies from 6 KB/sec and above based on network availability and plans chosen. Most time we won’t get the advertised mobile internet speed. One solution is to increase mobile internet speed use a mobile web browser like Opera that uses special compression technology to deliver web pages. Mobile operates brings new tariff plans and offers each day. But for a customer, it’s impossible to switch between different mobile carriers for interesting plans and issues related to services. MNP( Mobile Number Portability ) is a service that helps the customer to change to their favorite mobile operator without changing phone number. Talks on implementation Mobile Number Portability in India began almost two years back. Now the service is almost ready to be rolled out. As per Department Of  Telecom (DOT), MNP service in India will be launched by the end of December in some selected cities and networks. Customers in the supported network would be able to keep their mobile number moving to a new network. There will be small activation time and charge associated with this switching.

In some cases we will need to to recover accidentally deleted SMS messages and contact numbers. However it is not very easy to recover deleted SMS and other data from phone SIM card. Here we will need data recovery software that can scan specific portion of SIM card to recover messages. The theory is that if we have enough space to store new SMS messages, the old deleted ones remain inside SIM card. So you may not be able to see those messages in mobile.
