RIM is set to announce the all new Blackberry Bold 9700 smartphone in US (T-mobile) and some other European countries by November of this year. Blackberry Bold 9700 aka Blackberry Bold 2 or Oynx is in news for the last few months . The new Blackberry Bold is planned to be released along with Blackberry Storm2 , the WiFi enabled and enhanced version of flagship product Storm . We earlier covered the recent Blackberry device , Blackberry Tour and India release of Blackberry 8520 through Airtel . Blackberry Bold 9700 will be powered by the latest Blackberry OS 5 ,which was in test for the last few months . Specifications of the device includes 2.6 inch TFT display ,3G ,WiFi connectivity , 3.2 mega pixel camera with autofocus , upto 16 GB expandable , and elegant design with chrome frame .

Possibilities of new Blackberry OS 5 is another great advantage . QWERTY enabled handset comes with touch enabled optical track pad. Blackberry Bold 9700 is well suited business personals , corporates and other individuals looking for a business productivity phone with great looks and connectivity .

Blackberry Bold 9700 price in India :
Blackberry Bold 9000 is currently available in India through Airtel for a price around 31000 .The same phone was launched in US last year for 300 $ with contract . Blackberry recently announced their plans to sell contract free smartphones in India . So like Storm , Bold 9000 and Storm 2 , we expect Blackberry Bold 9700 to be available in India through Airtel,Vodafone and Blackberry retailers .
Update : Blackberry Bold 9700 is now official . New Bold will be available via T-mobile and AT&T in USA starting from this November.

But still I have a doubt that the set is 3G enabled but how can a set be 3G without the front camera. But on the whole the set is upto the mark.
