Apple announced new iMac and Mac Mini with better processors and lower price

Apple today announced the updated version of iMac desktop systems with of 21.5 inch and 27 inch LED-backlit displays redesigned with aluminum enclosure.The new iMac lineup will have most powerful Intel processors and extreme graphic processing capabilities with ATI Radeon HD and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M dedicated chips . Another feature of the new iMac is the magic mouse, which the first such device in the world with multi-touch technology .They also announced updated versions for Mac mini, the smallest and energy efficient desktop computer series from Apple. New Mac mini desktops will have Intel Core 2 Duo processors, increased memory and storage space with almost the same price of the old model .There is also a new Mac mini server configuration with with extra storage space. Both iMac 21.5 -27 inch and Mac mini models will be equipped with the latest Snow Leopard OS from Apple for free.

New iMac with 27 inch and 21.5 inch LED-backlit screen specification :

The major attraction in new iMac series is the 21.5 inch and 27 inch LED-backlit displays with 16:9 aspect rations and upto a maximum of 60 percent more pixels than old models .These HD ready iMac’s with 21.5 and 27 inch sizes will have 1920*1080 and 2560 *1440 pixels of resolutions. IPS technology used in the iMac could reproduce the exact color on the screen, viewable from wide angular range.

New iMac series is the first Apple product to include next generation Intel i7and i5 quad- core processors .These processors are currently the best available processing chips on earth on multitasking and energy efficiency  . 4GB of DDR3 RAM is default in all iMac models, and its expandable upto 16GB through four SO-DIMM slots . The standard features found in old iMac’s are also available in new models . There will integrated camera , WiFi ,Bluetooth ,SD card slot , 1 Firewire port , 4 USB ports , mic and stereo speakers .

Apple magic mouse uses the same patented technology that used in Apple iPhone and Apple iPod . New mouse will enable the user to control mouse actions with figure gestures . All iMac models includes magic mouse for free . It will cost 3000 INR (69 $)  in India if purchased separately .

There are three new Mac mini models with Intel Core 2 Duo processor ranging from 2.0 to 2.56 GHZ .All devices  includes integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics .

Mac Mini 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of 1066Mhz RAM, and a 160GB hard drive  India price = 28000 INR (599 $) apprx .
Mac Mini 2.56GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 320GB drive price in India = 37000 INR ( 7999 $)

Server configuration of iMac with 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 500 GB hard disk, 4GB RAM and Mac OS X Server Snow Leopard edition will cost 46000 INR (999 $) in India . This version will not have a optical drive .
